TFR / QUICK MANUAL
HOW TO
MOVE AROUND.
TFR is made to be explored. This manual explains the few things that are useful to know before the interface gets out of your way.
WHAT IS TFR?
LIVE is current signal. ARCHIVE is the historical material. MEMORIES is the visual archive. CREATE contains the creative tools. COMMUNITY is where people interact. SERVICES is the production/technical route.
MY TFR — SIGN IN / CREATE ACCOUNT
You can browse and play as a guest. Open MY TFR only when you want identity, access, voting, creator submission or account features. Use Google or email/password to sign in. The larger registration form opens only when you choose CREATE ACCOUNT.
INVITE / ACCESS CODES
You can type a beta/access code before continuing with Google, during email registration, or later inside MY TFR. A code belongs to your account, not to one browser tab.
STACK / FOLDS
Many TFR areas use collapsible headers. The header always remains visible. Click it to open the deeper layer only when you need it. The Machine uses the same idea for PROJECT and MIDI.
THE MACHINE
Start with sound. DRUMS, BASS, NEON and GHOST are instruments; the MIXER balances them; the ARRANGER creates structure. PROJECT and MIDI start closed. QUICK TOUR highlights the real controls. NEON can sequence one layer and play another live. USB MIDI follows the instrument you touch after MIDI permission is enabled.
MIDI
On the first use your browser may require permission. Once granted, TFR can follow USB hot-plug while the page is open. The collapsed MIDI header shows device state and the live target. Advanced MIDI files/channels remain inside the MIDI panel.
THE MIXER / DECK 003
Deck 003 is the dedicated performance mixer. It is separate from The Machine: use The Machine to build/play a rack and Deck 003 when you want the standalone mixing/performance surface.
MEMORIES / COMMUNITY
Open sections when you want to explore them. Memories is the broad archive; Rooftop Essence is a smaller editorial cover selection. Community contains the social/conversation layer.
BETA / REPORT
The Machine has a REPORT button. Use it for a bug, something confusing, an idea or a positive note. Technical context such as build/browser/MIDI status can be attached; TFR does not attach audio or your musical content.
PRIVACY / ANALYTICS
Experience analytics are optional. When accepted, TFR records navigation and tool actions to understand friction. It does not record audio, musical content, passwords, invite code values or form text. You can change the preference from the site footer.
